Explore the lake by boat

One of the best ways to get around Lake Garda is by ferry. Not only are the ferries on Lake Garda an efficient and cost-effective way of seeing Lake Garda, you can also see some fantastic views of the lake when you’re on the water.

If you fancy having full control over where you go on the lake, you can always hire a boat on Lake Garda and go and explore at your own leisure!

Explore Malcesine

Malcesine is our favorite place in Lake Garda. Not only is it a picturesque historic town, but there are also plenty of things to do.

You can go inside the famous Malcesine Castle and see some magnificent views from the top, as well as going up Monte Baldo in the cable car.

Visit Sirmione

Sirmione is another historic village on Lake Garda with a castle. In fact, you enter the center of Sirmione by going through the castle entrance, which is pretty cool. We would definitely recommend visiting here whilst your in Lake Garda.

Go to Fairytale Night in Riva del Garda

Fairytale Night takes place across four days in Riva del Garda, and consists of the town being transformed into a set of a specific fairytale. This year, the fairy tale will be Gulliver’s Travels.

Across the four days there are various plays & performances, live music, markets and general festivities to celebrate the fairytale.

Fairytale Night takes place on the 24th August 2023 – 27th August 2023.
